Our platform is about connecting with the right community, recommending the right service and sharing thoughts and experiences. By putting halal on the map and attainable on your smartphone we achieve more for our community. And more for our clients.

Halal is an Arabic term meaning lawful or permitted. It’s a universal term that applies to all facets of the Muslim life. 24Halal has two clear goals when it comes to the restaurant industry. We want to make it easier for the Muslim community to find halal locations and we strive for 24Halal to be utilized by enterprises as the main tool to be transparent about their halal food, products and services. By doing so, we offer our users a complete overview of Muslim friendly spots and their halal value. This simplifies our users pursuit for halal and it helps them to decide which restaurant to visit.

24Halal is a mobile app that serves as a guide for the Muslim consumer. Our app provides information about the Halal value of restaurants and eateries. The claimed Halal status is indicated by the restaurant itself or by users of the 24Halal app. We accept the information of restaurant owners and act in it in good faith. Contributions from users are always checked and verified with the restaurant itself before they are available and findable as a search result in 24Halal.

The menus of food establishments will be featured fully or partially Halal. However, we advise users of our app and Muslim consumers in general to check on the Halal status and authenticity of any Halal certificates before any food is consumed. The aim of 24Halal is to provide complete and transparent information in our app and on our websites regarding the halal value of restaurants. However, our platform cannot guarantee the accuracy of all Halal statuses. The app gives users sufficient information to make the right decision regarding the consumption in a restaurant or eatery.

Several halal food establishments in 24Halal are part of a restaurant chain. This does not automatically mean that all the locations of the respective food chain offers halal menus. From the restaurants that appear in 24Halal, we can conclude that halal dishes are served. If a location is not mentioned in the application, then the offer is probably not Halal or the establishment has not yet been notified. We advise the user of 24Halal to always check on the halal status with the restaurant staff before food is being consumed.

Absolutely. 24Halal is and will remain free for our users. Commerce is not the starting point in establishing 24Halal. We want to serve the Muslim community both living in and visiting Europe. That starts with increasing the visibility of Halal locations and sharing user experiences.

We do not know yet. The Android version is now available for your Samsung, Huawei, HTC or other Android device. And the iOS version will work properly on your iPhone. Our developers work hard in order to update and improve 24Halal on these platforms. And that’s an on-going process. However, we do consider a Windows version of 24Halal if we receive enough requests for it. Like us on Facebook and be the first to know what technical improvements we achieved.

When you have created an account in 24Halal you will not receive a verification email. If you have forgotten your password, click on 'forgot your password' on the login screen. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

This is highly dependent on your device, and the available location services. 24Halal uses a combination of GPS location data to determine the location. If the location is not accurate, try Wi-Fi connection and turn on GPS. This should give a more precise definition.

It may occur that the location service is inaccurate if you’re indoors or below street level. It is always possible to fill in a town in the upper search bar. If the entered location has Halal locations, you are sure this way that results are displayed.

Yes! We build continuously on 24Halal and we are always looking for ways to enhance the mobile guide for our users. In the current version of 24Halal it is possible to add restaurants and share your experience with other users with reviews and ratings.

In future updates it will be available to add more pictures of Halal locations and the review button can found directly in the restaurant listing. In addition, we will add an owner button so that information can be managed directly by the provider.

Feel free to give your opinion and let us know where we can do better. Your feedback helps us to tweak 24Halal and build in the proper adjustments. It’s great to work together as a community and build the first comprehensive Halal Guide for ourselves and all halal minded people that travel to Europe. Muslim friendliness is key. From there on everyone will benefit.
